Good Doctor Zomnker (This must be Tuesday," said GDZ to himself, sinking low over his Dr. Pepper, "I never could get the hang of Tuesdays.") Posted Dec 8, 2003
[GDZ- who is now an anime addict, compliments of Marv]

I finnshed the story line in Morrowind today. I want the expansion now to see where the story is going. I really do like the immersivness of the that world, howeve.r

Papers graded, finals waiting...
I don't understand why some students pay good money to attend a prestigious school, and then don't bother to study. I have a student who has consistently gotten failing grades all quarter, and I just took a look at her final. They had two hours to write on 3 questions, and she wrote exactly 5 paragraphs -- 3 on one question, and one each on the two others. Her answer to the significance of warfare? People die.
Although I did get a classic..."The main outcome of the Black Death was death."

dElaphant (and Zeppo his dog (and Gummo, Zeppos dog)) - Left my apostrophes at the BBC Posted Dec 8, 2003
That's "dot syntax" Lil, and I think Courtesy gave an example of it earlier. Object.method(parameter) And I think you are right, OOP blurs the boundaries.
And this has nothing to do with anything:

I forgot to mention that link might not work in all browsers. It seems ok in Netscape7/Mozilla.
MR, the students are not paying good money. Their parents are. If you had the parents in your classroom, you can be sure they would pay much better attention.

MR, Perhaps those students are not paying good money. Their folks may be, but they may not be. You can never tell...

Oh, that is just too funny. Some of the words in my lyrics aren't in the database and I got the most hilarious message about what is entailed in getting them included.
I just finished Cryptonomicon. I am completely blown away. (Pun not intended but I'll let it stay.) Marv, I can see clearly how this would be your favorite book. I think I know what parts you would be up for in the movie.

I can't see me playing any part in that film. Mabey, perhaps, possibly Randy Waterhouse. But not really.

What's the size of your cohort M?
You state you course is prestigious..what's your institutions ranking in the states please?

Personality-wise, Marv, you could be Randy Waterhouse. But if you just want to make a cameo appearance, you could be one of the Secret Admirers in the beat up van outside of the Ordos offices.

Well, I have the van and I have the firearms to be one of them...

Hmm, the more I think about it the more I think that I would like being a Secret Admirer in a film version of Cryptonomicon.
I will start reading that again as Ben just gave it back to me today. I have too many fantasy novels on my desk right now and I am muddling the plts/

I tried to pretend that some of my assignments in school were concise and terse, but really I just was lazy and did not want to write the papers. I am terrible at writing assignments. Free form writing I am cool with, but something that I *have* to do is yet another story.
