If you were to use Hackish nomenclature you might say BASen, Ben. The 'en' suffix is generally reserved for any word that ends in x or cks, but I like to append it to words that end in s as well.
In all seriousness I would consider BASs to be correct.

I'd put BASes, but I may be confusing the whole thing with the word 'bases' in an overcaffeinated sort of way, so give me a moment and I'll go find Strunck and White and Speak From On High.
Greensleeves, may I do myself the honour of remarking that your eye-make-up is most striking and becoming? I wish I could wear mascara without turning into a panda (without the rarity of cuddliness or sixth digit on each front paw, more's the pity).
Have made a mistake at work. For someone who prides herself on her extreme nit-pickery and retentiveness of the rear ('attention to detail' I call it on the CV), this is all horribly horribly horribly embarrassing. I really need a very large carton of double chocolate chip fudge ice-cream, a big spoon, and a hot tub. For tomorrow I shall have to go and TELL people I have made a mistake.

On the subject of swimming after eating, it used to be thought that the saying that you shouldn't swim after eating, as may get cramp, was an Old Wives Tale. However, it is now thought that it maybe partly true as food being in stomach draws blood ,and therefore oxygen, to the stomach muscles, and away from muscles in limbs.
.
Although not an expert, you would imagine eating after swimming would be more beneficial if wishing to lose weight as an empty stomach would mean body using stored fat on body to power itself.
In general I think swimming is a good form of exercise, as apposed to something like jogging, as water supports body and prevents muscle, etc damage. Of course the faster you swim the greater the beneft!
Although not doing exercise, just by doing sensible eating for last couple of months, I seem to be losing weight, well at least too tight trousers now fit better. It was getting silly, I was eating 3 sandwiches at lunch sometimes, 2 bowls of cerial at breakfast, etc.
I now just have 1 sandwich lunchtime and only the evening meal without a sandwich later too.

this is absolutely correct. Also, exercise tends to act like an appetite suppressant so if you eat afterwards you will tend to not eat as much.
This is probably because it requires a lot of blood in the intestinal system in order to digest the food. When you exercise, the blood gets sent to the muscles and the digestion is not proceeding as effectively as it should and so you start feeling sickish.

Ditto from here. I gave up on makeup entirely. It makes me break out, and puts a whole new meaning to the phrase "It will make you look younger" -- it throws me right back 4 decades to when I was an acne ridden teenager. Ick.
I gave up on mascara when I lived in Fairbanks AK -- in the winter when you went outside your breath would condense in ice crystals on your eyelashes and eyebrows and then when you went back inside would melt, thus moving mascara from lash to cheek in a most unbecoming way. What was the point anyway? There were so few men there at the time you could have walked around clothed in fatigues wearing Cutter's insect repellent for perfume and the men would still think you were a Miss American candidate. Especially if you were even slightly interested in indoor exercise activities (nudge-nudge wink-wink)

I don't do make up because I'm lazy - too lazy to remove it properly each night so I am a scary sight next morning...
Being blonde, I look better with mascara on - it really frames my eyes but I just can't be arsed any more.
I did get my eyelashes dyed a few months ago - which looked really I wonder if that is contra-indicated in pregnancy?

dgbibulli, please don't mind if you get a bit of a verbal poke from Greensleeves -- as you're a relatively new salonista, and so people just aren't always certain of your intentions. You have to understand that we've had some seriously bad trolls cause trouble in the past. I really recommend you go to A304354 and have yourself a read. Then come back and have some of this anniversary cake.

Happy Anniversary!
I'd go with BASs. I had a look through the Oxford Style Manual and it doesn't seem to say, but just an s seems the most sensible (though if the acronym was written in lower case I'd add an es).
