Good luck, Amy.
Ben, I am totally confused. Did someone yikes your other post? Because if the filter automatically flagged the word queer, it clearly only works part of the time.

kelli, I really wanted to see your garden pictures, but for some reason my internet isn't cooperating. I get the thumbnails, but cannot get them enlarged enough to really see anything--ah well, maybe later.
I bought some white flowers this year to put in a shady spot toward the back. There are already hostas and Japanese Knotweed there. I will be adding white impatiens and another hosta that has white edged leaves.
Must go rescue the squirrel. HE has his head stuck in the bird feeder.

Only one real problem with getting out of school at 1305, by the time I get home there is no time for me to get in my daily nap. I've come to rely on those, probably too much.

Hyp, I suspect some overzealous modding by an overzealous mod. Ach well, it's neither here nor there, I guess.

Good luck with the job, Amy!
The current Untidy Heaps I am ignoring successfully because they are behind closed door are: my kitchen cupboards, which I just sort of shoved things into when we moved in (a year ago) and have subsequently realised are just all wrong for how I use the kitchen, and the documents cabinet, which I just shove bits of paper at and hope for the best. Oh and the chest of drawers in the wardrobe which is organised by topic, but in which everything is just otherwise stuffed.

Sol: Have you considered accidentally bumping into your neighbours one day and stopping to have a good old chinwag?
Albatross: Was it a Renault Clio?
Any luck yet? Don't worry it does take a while to get the right one.
Very well off: He's got two pairs of socks. Nope.
He's got two paris of private jets. hmm.
He's got two pairs of curtains on every window. nuh-uh
He's got two pairs of diamond encrusted swimming trunks. That's the one!
Lentilla: Does she pay any attention to conversational directions? Sounds like the kind of person you could have fun with. "So, you were about to tell me about the time your leg fell off...
if not there's always "I suppose you're lucky you never listen to what your saying" or if all else fails, "excuse me, I have to be somewhere you aren't."
mutter mutter mutter, head up own Rse, mutter mutter discussions about colons.

Is it really that odd to want to interupt people when they are blatently getting it wrong within earshot?
If they were in the hospital common room or canteen I'd tell them, so why not on the bus.
Kelli: nice garden.
Ben - Oh Babe.
I have come to the conculsion I am utterly shite at housework. I just don't have the energy and time to work, revise for post grad exams and keep a house together. I do washing up once a fortnight, the place is disgusting me so good knows what it's doing to other people. I cleaned for two hours when Ben was visiting on Saturday, and it was still a mess, just a more acceptable one.
*whinge*
*moan*
I know it's in my power to change it, but I can't phsyically find any more hours in the day.
I can on the other hand hire a cleaner....I can't afford one, but this is disgusting and I just don't have any energy to change it. I know junior doctors worked longer hours in the past - but they lived in at work, and didn't have to do housework.

Praps you could trade extra tuition on the bus for a student tidier.
I'm sure there's one student somewhere in the UK that is able to tidy.

for Z. As someone who absolutely loathes housework and puts it off until 5 minutes before the guests arrive, I sincerely sympathize.
Mu problem is that I only have energy to clean or do yard work or whatever in tghe mornings. But, I'm never home in the mornings. And on the occassional morning that I am home without errands to run, I fritter away my time on the computer, which is much more interesting than mopping the kitchen and pulling weeds.
Ben, that's what I was wondering. Because you seem to be a target.

I'm trying to think a way out of the problem. I know that most problems like this are within my control.
But really I just don't see where I can put housework time. I don't mean actually doing 'housework' like cleaning the kitchen floor, but even washing up and tidying is getting left.
didn't get home from work until 2020 today, twenty past eight and then by the time I'd had a phone call and got something to eat it was 2220 and I realised I just wanted to go to bed.
Driving to work instead of getting public transport will give me an extra hour a daywhich would be useful, but again I don't have the time. I know this is unfair, but the reason I do tend to leave late is that my SHO is two doctors sharing the job because they have babies, so they always have to leave on time, leaving me to finish off work.
It's terribly un-PC of me to resent this, so I'm trying very hard not to.

Gosh, Kelli, your house and the road in general looks very like the one my brother lived in, in Cookham Dene. That garden is going to look very nice.
Next door had the tops taken off a holly and two conifers today, as they were removing the first conifer, the guy leant forward and picked up a bird's nest with three little eggs in it. A blackbird was hopping around nearbye in near distraction. But it's still early in the season, time enough to raise another brood.

Like Hyp, I too am a morning person. Or at least I was until Lord C. retired. Now we fritter away the morning with coffee, the telly, the 'puter............ I have become more productive in the late afternoon hours recently. Our afternoon into evening time period is absolutely perfect. We weed, plant, water and admire from about 3 until 6, then it's time for
. Dinner is a bit later. When the weather gets hotter, we will reverse some of our routine, since late afternoon in KS. is not pleasant in July and August.
Right now the patio is the place to be--after three.

Er.
Now to see how much studying I can do before midnight.
