I am not very proficient reading minor aracana cards, as mine don't have pretty pictures to act as a prompt, but I do think there is some kind of career question there.
I assumed you had done the reading for him, have I got this the wrong way round? Did you do the reading for yourself? That would make a difference to some of the feelings I was getting.

Thats why i asked ..I would've got no sense out of it myself..not a lot anyway..n what i did get I'd then think I was seeing cos of of the bias etc! .

Sorry didn't see you there Caerwyn..
I did it myself..but asked the question from his point of view rather than doing it for him..if that makes sense.I know you should really ask someone before you look into what theyre thinking etc..n I nomally do..but not this time

Hmm, that does make the whole thing confusing. Then I would say that he may well make a choice that you may not want, hence the loss and leaving things behind.

I think i've just found out what that was.. something happened in th last couple of days he hadn't told me about..a loss n leaving behind of sorts.. which goes aways to expllaining the confusion with me..a long way in fact. something else still hurt..n has just been opened up again all i can do is be there.

Just had an email fromAmazon letting me know that as there is still no publication date for the Golden Tarot, they have cancelled my order It looked so pretty too.
I think I may have a look at some other cards and see if I like any others.

If you do Caerwyn, get a friend/family member to buy them for you as they should really be a gift If thats not practical give them to someone to cleanse and return to you.

*a bot rolls in a tray of tea things*
*while the group have been discussing tarot, the gardenerbots have been working in the background, and there are now several groupings of spring bulbs in large planters livening up the room*
*the poinsettias have been removed to the greenhouse*
I still recommend the Mythic Tarot. But I'm told the Robin Wood tarot is very pretty.

I knew there was a place where people were discussing tarot!
Here comes my question - what to do if the reading is something that really scares me?
The Atelier Conservatory
Witty Moniker Posted Mar 22, 2004
Gosh, Hati! All I can suggest is to discuss it with people you trust. Maybe another perspective will help. Care to go into detail?

I can't remember the exact set of cards but what we read out from those was that after some disillusioning and fraud and such I will lose all my sanity, temporarily - the only comfort we found from there. I wasn't reading it alone and we used written sources for it to get clearer reading and to be sure we interpret things okay. *sighs* Perhaps things aren't that bad (*tries to comfort herself*) but one of my greatest fears is being put away to some funny farm.

Well, I am a novice when it comes to tarot, but one thing I've noticed is that things can interpreted over a large range of degree. If an interpretation doesn't feel right to you, you should reconsider it. I know you have had some considerable hurdles to overcome, but I don't see you as the type that would become irrational. Angry perhaps , but not insane.
Maybe it is a warning of a future crisis that you will be able to handle as long as you are prepared for it.

Just for preparing it seemed to be reasonable to have my mature and reasonable friends around me. For any possible advice or just for keeping an eye on me. Well, obviously I don't have any of this kind friends.
Losing myself isn't an irrational fear, I have reasons for that.

Hey, don't your hootoo friends count? We will be here for you.
How long ago did you do this reading? Maybe you should try again and write down the cards so you can post them here. I'm sure the more experienced readers here would take a crack at it.

Sleep is good. Try to remember if you have any dreams. They can be helpful in sorting things out. They may be related to the reading since you mind is on it.

I am having the weirdest dreams for some weeks already. Nothing bad actually, just weird.
well, now I am going to sleep on it all. G'night!

Definately post the cards Hati
Always remember that nothing is set in stone..and as such no one can tell you your future! The Tarot are best seen as a wise friend
who can show you the course that you're on, factors you may not have seen etc you can then use this information to change things. They can also deal with different levels.. maybe the part you're worried about was highlighting that you fear/will fear losing your sanity, or could feel that you have for a short time , rather than actually doing it. Was a course of action to avoid this advised?

Tarot is not an exact science and what appear to be threatening cards rarely are. A reading doesn't accurately predict what is going to happen, but points out what ~may~ happen and possible ways of dealig with events.
I shall be interested to see what you cards say, Hati.
I still haven't got around to finding some new cards, I shall have a look at some this week and get H to buy them for me.
