[Link] If EITHER of you makes any Cowboy Bebop jokes, you're getting a Spinning Blade up your nose.
[Roll] Don't worry. They'll also get a fully-charged Roll Buster in your face.
[Squall] Not to mention that I still have a few Ultimas left over ...
[Link] None of us is going to make any Cowboy Bebop jokes, are we?
[Roll and Squall] Nope.
[Link] Fine with me.

*Rises demurely into the air and sails sedately along, very upright, next to the coach, one hand firmly holding hat in place*

*Looks around for Affy, doesn't see him, but assumes he'll catch up. Urges his horse forward to where Billy and Odra are riding.*
The road with the switchbacks is fine, Billy. It should take us most of the way there. Last time I was on it, it petered out about halfway through Moxon Wood. We'll probably need to farther than that, but we can worry about that later.
*Falls back to the stagecoach, even with the window. Puckers up and calls inside.*
HOW ABOUT A LITTLE QUICHE FROM ONE OF YOU LADIES.

Billy the Kid Posted May 26, 2002
*Nods to what Mr. Wolf has said* Well, there's places a coach can't go, and when it comes to any serious exploring, then it's just as well the loose horses are following us.
When we get to open country, we should have some of the riding party behind the coach and riders out to both sides riding point. When the road gets narrower, flank riders come in and I'll go ahead a little ways. We got to rescue Miz Lil but we got to protect the ladies as well, got it?

*listening to the riders as the coach rolls easily along on the level road*
This coach has a few tricks on board, young Billy Antrim. You might be surprised where it can go!

Mmmm, nice bread, better than that skinny French stuff
*Holds a plate out of the window with slices of quiche so that those riding by can grab some*
I think I had some of those plastic lids for these cups somewhere, then you can all have too.
Don't worry too much about protecting us females, we've been in a few scrapes before, Lil is the priority.
WM, would you mind passing that plateful to those intrepid souls riding on the roof?
Pontoon is more my game, but I have played poker before. I can never remember the order of the hands, is a Royal Flush higher than a Full House?

*As the riders and stagecoach pass through the village, researches stop what they are doing and stare at the procession. The windows of the F&F are soon crowded with spectators, as are the windows of the Aroma Cafe. As the hoofs ring on the cobblestones, a ragged cheer starts at the Cafe and is quickly taken up by the rest of the crowd. The posse is visibly cheered by the show of support. On leaving the village, the leaders take the right fork and head towards Mt. Sandeverest and Moxon Woods.
GL, cramming a piece of quiche in his mouth, waves at the crowd.*

/* Trots around the back of the coach, spots the orange button, and makes note of its location for future reference. */
Hmm. That crowd in the café looks like a rough bunch. <-- snags some quiche

*Passes the plate through the window and places on the roof of the coach.*
And I don't want to catch any of you men folk pointing a pistol at my head at any point. This isn't a John Ford movie and I'm not as helpless as I look.

Billy the Kid Posted May 26, 2002
*Billy has been looking around affably as they ride through the village, observing the street layout and nature of the folk. He turns in his saddle and grins at Miz Moniker, raising his hat slightly* Did that John Ford make a movie about me?
*turns back to his mounted compadres* The lady made a real good point. I hope ever' one here knows enough to stay out of range of each other's bullets. *pats the stock of his winchester*

Billy, there have been more than a couple of movies made about you, but I don't think John Ford directed any of them. I can tell you that some very fine and handsome actors have portrayed you, though.
