Yeah, RPers are a diverse bunch.
Hmm...the next part of the AQ Epic Quest becomes available tonight! Nifty.

I've been to the Project Entropia home page and had a look, and it seems very interesting, but demanding. Real-time demanding. I think this is why I still prefer a solo game like Myst 5, where I have time to just look at things and ponder the puzzles.
Not only that, but my real life is a lot like PE in some ways, in that my survival depends on my ability to exploit my environment. If I were in a salaried job with a dependable routine, I bet I would find PE a lot more enticing.

Yeah, the solo games have that distinct advantage of not being dependant on anything. Although, does anyone remember the Penny Arcade where people played Myst online? That was one of the only strips that convinced me to read the Penny Arcade archives (well, that and the time when Metroid was shown as a text adventure).

I will share the names of my characters, that I can remember (I'm on a PvE - maybe I'll try one of your PvP servers sometime, or perhaps we could all start on a new server with an alt? Sounds kinda fun...):
Gnome, Male, Mage - Sporky
Tauren, Male, Shaman - Vimes
Night Elf, Male, Rogue - Venegan
Human, Male, Priest - Promathia
Undead, Female, Warlock - Clothilde
I have more characters and names, that are only lvl 1 but I can't remember them. I have an equal number horde and alliance characters.
Oh, and an ogre on some new server that I started when Greymane was down last week - Ogrekin. I can hear your groans, but I am oblivious to them!

I could use an alt to let my main rest a bit. If people are interested I could roll a char on another server. I am *very* partial to horde, however, for what that is worth.

I find myself partial to the horde as well and, I hate to say it, but the people seem more polite on that side. Of course, I'm generalizing.
Tauren is by far my most favorite race, if alone for /moo

I think that Trolls have the best dance and the best jokes in game though.
The Gamers Conversing in the Computer Room
SE Posted Jan 21, 2006
i've actually yet to play trolls. soon, most likely.
gnomes have the best /train. it's all i can do to stop myself from doing it every 5 seconds

Here's a weird question: anyone here play the HHGTTG game that wasn't a text-adventure made by Infocom?
I figured if anyone had, it would be this crowd.

It was Starship Titanic that made me aware of the original H2G2.

I love the gnome /train. We have been known to do it walking from Stormwind to Booty Bay!

Are the "undead" races just assumed to mean "undead human"?
I couldn't be an "undead elf" for instance, could I?
The Gamers Conversing in the Computer Room
Coniraya Posted Jan 22, 2006
No undeads are ex-human only. I find them deeply depressinng. I'm looking forward to the expansion and the bloodelves.

I am looking forward to figuring out what is in the shiny purple bubble in Alterac.
The Gamers Conversing in the Computer Room
Afgncaap5 Posted Jan 22, 2006
There should be an Undead-Undead. A "Redead", if you will.

Has there been any word on what new race the Alliance are getting in the expansion?
The Gamers Conversing in the Computer Room
Coniraya Posted Jan 23, 2006
The shiny purple bubble is a magical forcefield that was supposed to protect the beautiful city of Dalaran from the scourge. Sadly they also used magic to level the city. Is it being opened as an instance in the expansion?
