11 days 'til the move!

I am just kickin it at work today. Been far too busy of late so I am enjoying the respite.

Afternoon all (Sunday). It's wet outside and soon it will be wet inside as I join a couple of friends in a couple(?) of beers while watching footie on TV.

I am not allowed to drink when we go to this particular club for some reason (just please don't ask about a pole in the middle of the dance floor and too many redbulls with vodka) so I am being sober boy tonight. At least I can listen to radio1 from work for the last part of my shift.

Do you let go of a friendship or aquaintance if the other party involved is being too narrow minded to let it exist? That's the morall dillemma for the day. I wanna say yes, I hope it won't ever come to that, but as things go on....it's never good to have more than one person who knows that they are right about something, I guess.

we put up part of the fence today. i personally detest the colors dad picked, but fortunately i move out soon. they're putting in a patio and eventually a jacuzzi - and of course they wait until i'm leaving to do that. tisk tisk. oh well.

A nice quiet weekend for a change... it feels good.

I am off to read more terry pratchett- god, those books are too addicting!

V. tired today. Went out staright from work for dinner with friends, who announced that after 3 attempts at IVF, they got it right and she is nearly 20 weeks pregnant! Hurrah, I am so happy for them. On another note, other friends who have been trying for 15 years and were basically told they couldn't have kids announced last week that they are going to have a baby after all Is it something in the water?

The evening function of the wedding I was at yesterday wasn't too bad. I took a load of pics I got done quickly so people enjoyed looking at those

Now just wait for a lift to go and see some friends for the rest of the day and back down to London. I hope the train journy isn't quite so tiring this time, then again it's not running quite so late at night.
