I'm from Flemington, NJ in the USA. Home of the famous trial of Bruno Hauptman for allegedly kidnapping the Lindbergh baby.

Wandering around the guide I came upon the question: Where are you from?
I'm from the Isle of Man.
Anticipating the next question (probably from at least half the british people who read this, and most of the people from the rest of the world: Where?
It's an Island in the Irish sea, that's between England and Ireland. We're not exactly part of the UK- we have our own government, laws etc. but we use pouns stirling as our currency, and the Queen is our head of state (I think officially we're a Crown Protectorate- does anyone know of any others?). Interestingly we're not part of the EU, so I don't know what'll happen if/when Britain joins the Euro.
Anyway If you want to find out more about my home country check out my page.

I'm not living where I'm from. Although originally being German, I am at the moment spending a year in Edinburgh. Other than Robert (that's my brother's name as well. What a nice coincidence) I probably don't need to explain where this is.

Gigha, Scotland
and I think that sticking all of us in under "great britain" is a bit off really, I'd much prefer to know how many of each separate country, province and us state there were.

In that spirit:
Douglas, Massachusetts, USA. If you stick a pin in your North American map where Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island come together, you'll be close enough.

Is this totally based on ffmike's previous calculations, and if so, are everyone formerly listed in his graphs counted in the listings on this site?
If so, disregard that I'm from Sweden (south eastern part, village called Torsås), but currently living in Renfrewshire, Scotland in a town called Greenock.
Was previously listed in Gourock, but I moved.

Just an idea about dividing the UK. Maybe not down to the different counties, but maybe dividing it into England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Like in the rugby and football?

We are going to break it down more - but at the moment it has not reached the top of the list - sorry.
But I would be intrigued to know how you would like it to be broken down further. I mean would you want it to be Scotland? or Gigha. How would you deal with London? I will set up a new thread and every one can contribute to it there!
I know Gigha through a friend - how is it?
