Anyone seen this recently? I loved the Goodies as a kid but haven't had a chance to re-evaluate them as a grown-up as none of the terrestial channels will touch them. Wonder why this is.

I gather they made an appearance on Top Ten singing Funky Gibbon the other week...
I also loved The Goodies when I was younger. I'm quite happy for them to remain a happy childhood memory though - I suspect they won't stand up to the scrutiny of adulthood. Did I say "adulthood"? You know what I meant...

A friend reminded me some time back of an episode which they just might not have got away with today. Basically, all tv programmes get taken over by black people: cue clips of our 3 funny men in blackface make-up presenting programmes like "Darkinson". Ooooh dear...
