Evenin' all.

I noticed the other day that Sainsbury's has currently got a rather good selection of autumn/winter beers in, including a box set of Brakspear's. Time for a taster...

Beer list will be up on the main page very shortly.

smiley - cheers

For ease, I'll post them here as well:

* Crabbie's Alcoholic Ginger Beer
* Brains SA Gold
* Adnams East Green Carbon Neutral
* Badger Poacher's Choice
* Guinness Foreign Extra
* Sierra Nevada 2008 Anniversary Ale
* Brakspear's Bitter
* Brakspear's EPA
* Brakspear's Oxford Gold
* Brakspear's Triple

Grab what you can and see you about eight.

There is only one thing worse than being Gosho, and that is not being Gosho

Sierra Nevada 2008 Anniversary smiley - drool Even I don't have one of those smiley - envy You really must look out for the SN Harvest, especially the Southern Harvest. That's been my second favourite beer so far this year, after Real Ale Lost Gold IPA (we've still got a keg of it in the walk-in at work... trying to figure a way to get that one out and on the bus, all 160lbs of it, without anyone noticing smiley - whistle).

Now I'm just waiting to taste this year's Sierra Nevada Celebration smiley - cheers

We've got some SN Celebration in the fridge here at chez Nerd. There's usually some Guinness at the store, but I swear they must ship the crummy stuff to us, and I've never been that impressed with a stout that needs a stupid plastic nitrogen doo-hickey.

The rest of those I haven't heard of, but we'll try to match styles, at least.

Look, it's hard enough trying to get everyone to buy the same beer in the first place without you trying to change the menu from 8,000 miles away. smiley - tongueout

I may have to investigate the US beers they've got in our very good local real ale pub tonight if we go there... Problem is I useually get distrated by the dozen or more handpumps of more local beers... which are of course priced a bit better than what for us is the imported US real ales smiley - dohsmiley - drool if they've got some SN stout or porter though smiley - droolsmiley - stoutsmiley - alesmiley - wah
