A Conversation for h2g2 Birthday Party

So if it's raining, we can all turn up there instead.
I will be in London, because I am going to see Ralph Feinnes and Linus Roach give their all in Richard II at the converted Gainsborough film studios (where Hitchcock used to film).
So, I might join you briefly in the park or later for the drink, but not the bit in between.

Ooh... everybody take plenty of pictures! That includes pictures of Ralph Fiennes.
Shall try.

Thanks for the offer - but the effects at this end just aren't the same
Being a virtual community, I would have thought some virtual celebrations would be in order - are there any plans for any official virtual celebrations?

I think I'll be able to make London that weekend (with the usual stuff about barring natural disaster etc.).
So yeah, put me down as a 'yes'!

Blimey... I just misread the phrase "I am in negotiations with venues"... for a second I thought it said "I am in negotiations with Venuses"!
Happy Birthday

I assume you want to go to the VIRTUAL party then, not the RL one... (it's very confusing, isn't it???!)
Happy Birthday

There's a Welland in Worcs - not far from me..
I shall try to come down to the party - babysitters permitting
Count me as a definite maybe
Happy Birthday

I'd love to be there IRL but two oceans(in either direction) are just too much for this antipodean, so I'll be at the virtual one instead. Oh well, will someone have a very large drink for me please?
