I have a theory that runs thus - the entire presidential farce is in fact another manifestation of the UK's current penchant for "fly-on-the-wall" documentaries. In a couple of months, "Inside Story: Bush House" (or some other suitably lame title) will hit our screens, and in it we will see the first genuinely funny American comedy programme in a couple of decades.
