...but the roses here are prisoners too, when morning comes around
Blimey, I used to stay up late (very late) to watch Prisoner Cell Block H but it was worth it.
It seemed very realistic to me, except for the paper walls.
Bea was a great tophard but fair with a soft centre she kept very well hidden. Old smoker Lizzie with her train-track-lined face.
I hated that butch guard, and that whining blonde
Oh and all the ironing they had to do!
Do they ever show this on cable? If so, what channel please?
Loved the soundtrack which started up as soon as the doors clanged shut I bought the 45" record, still have it somewhere, I think I had to order it specially from WHSmiths

That is the best TV show Australia made.
Working in an office run by women line managers and with women mostly around me it brings back so many memories of the soap.
Its so real, my factory, the greyness, the pointless power struggles, the escapism and the frustration.
Is it on DVD?
Anyone got the lyrics?
He used to bring me roses
I wish he would again
But that was on thwe outside
And things were different then
On the inside the roses grow
They don't mind the stony ground
and i 4get the rest
