Can I just point out that St. Etienne v Nice was a 4pm kick-off, so Number Six would have posted after the kick-off in that game? It is kind of significant, since at present (5:20 pm UK time) he's on course for four points from that match - result, score and Agali as a scorer.

Is it a 4pm kick off? The BBC site was saying that they were all 7pm tonight, with the exception of the PSG game which is tomorrow.
I'll wander off and check exactly what time Number Six posted his selection

Number Six is in the clear.
L'equipe says that the game kicked off at 4:15pm (GMT) and Number Six posted his selection at 4:21.30pm (GMT). So that does mean the game had been underway for 6 minutes and 30 seconds before he pushed the 'Post Message' button. However the first goal was not scored until 25 minutes into the match, therefore at the moment of button pushing it was a nil-nil. Hence Number Six's predictions stand
Note: The thread is now well and truly closed for any further predictions. If you haven't turned up by now, you've got zero for this week

It's my game McKay, and I'll do as a damn well please
Anyway, with four games played, the provisional results show that:
1) everyone who has shown up has scored at least one point.
2) in one case it is *only* the one point.
3) two players share the current top spot on seven points.
4) at first view these two seemed to have very similar patterns of predictions, however I have checked back and I'm happy that this is merely coincidence of scorelines. The scorer predictions are for the most part different, so I'm content that there has been no copying.

Ooh, ooh, do I have the one point?

I wonder if the T Giresse that scored for Toulouse is any relation to the legendary Alain? riotact, any thoughts?
And I have to say, I had no idea Les Verts had kicked off early against Nice - like most of us, I reckon, my predictions were a complete stab in the dark. And while I'm always happy to see a team wearing green on the winning side, I'm feeling a bit robbed by St Etienne's last-minute winner and Ajaccio's equally tardy equaliser!
Still, c'est la vie!

I believe that result trebled my score too. Merci to PSG, especially as they were down to dix hommes for 70 minutes of the game!

I quiet week I think. Quiet in as much as eight folk didn't show up. And quiet as the scoring was a bit on the low side - everyone scored, but no one scored big.
Riotact did well, as I'm sure we expected he would do. However he did not win it. That honour goes to the perennial dark horse of the competition - stand up me[Andy]g, you've won Week 13 with a highly respectable 9 points
------------
The Results:
Lens 0-1 Lyon (ITANDJE)
Monaco 2-2 AC Ajaccio (DZODIC, Saviola, Kallon, Ouadah)

Number 6 asks: "I wonder if the T Giresse that scored for Toulouse is any relation to the legendary Alain? riotact, any thoughts?"
He is his son.
if 8 points can be a good week, i had one. OL wins, OM loses... and on reflection, it's a good thing that "les verts" won. my knee jerk reaction was to go against them, but if the get relegated there's no more derby;besides i hate nice and their nazi fans.

Thanks, riotact! Is he any good?
And by 'eck, it's tight at the top of the table! Five of you crammed right up there... puts the Premiership right in the shade.

That's right, and with only a few weeks to go to the end of the season, the rest of us are just sitting there twiddlin' us thumbs and waiting to see who out of that five gets crowned as the winner
And remember folks, in the event of a tie the championship will be awarded on the basis of a countback head-to-head week-by-week system.

Surely mention should be made that DD has closed in on top spot and is now just one point off it in second place.

The head-to-head thingy in the event of a tie will work in exactly the same way as it did (or rather didn't as it actually wasn't needed) a couple of seasons back.
Key: Complain about this post
