h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

If I was Fred, I think I might have felt a little over-whelmed at all those suggestions.

Maybe all those old Public Information Films (There was also Clunk Click Every Trip) would make a good Entry, seperatre from Fred's.

Oh dear I see that Fred did get a bit about all of this. Are you still up for working on it Fred or have you lost momentum for it a bit? If you don't want to deal with it anymore then you can leave it as is, and it will still be listed in search results on h2g2. However what would be really useful then is if you could take this out of Peer Review.

I can't remember if I've posted about this Entry before; but it sounded good to me, or at least, I didn't spot any grammatical errors.

hello... sorry... I was overwelmed... then I went away for 2 months, and when I got back, all th other convos had pushed this one down to the bottom of the list, and i sort of *guilty face* forgot about it until now. I just signed on and it was up there on the most recent list and i was like, Oh yeah, that! Wow it's been a while... I wrote this in the 7th grade, and I double dipped it as a essay for class... wow... Well it's been... almost like 2 years or something, I know more about PSAs now... I could deffinatly add alot to this. Wow. Thanks guy for reminding me, I'll definaly work on this when I get back to the US.

I'm on a Brittish farm right now and the battery for this laptop is about to go, and the stupid US charger plug won't work over here... BUT I WILL RESUME THIS!!! Don't let me put it off for another year ok.... lol

any more work on this ?

... uh not yet, but I just started school so thats why (gosh I'm such a procrastinator) hopfully in my film class we'll talk more about PSAs so I can add to this or something...

To get into the EG you will need to take out your signature (see post 37) and also the graphic - one might be added by the "team" when it makes front page... otherwise there are loads of examples to wade through and add from this PR thread if you wish - they would help jog people's memories about this kind of broadcast - they did mine!

Ok - I take back what I said about trying to finish this any time soon. I totally give up. I hate TV - Hate PSAs - I only wrote this because I also had to write about it for school - and now I'm majoring in film, so I'm over the whole TV media thing!!!!

Aw, that's a real shame. I'd very much like to see an entry on PSAs / Public Information Films in the Edited Guide...

If you don't intend to finish this entry, would you mind removing it from Peer Review for us by clicking on 'Remove' next to it on the PeerReview page? You could always re-submit it to the Fleamarket for someone else to finish, too, if you're happy for someone else to share the writing credit
