okay... stay with me on this; it's convoluted:

Have you ever gone to some sort of reunion or gone on a long trip and then the subsequent welcome-back party? And you find yourself telling folks over and over again the same synopsis of your experiences?



Haven't you just always wished you had a tiny little tapeplayer fashioned into a charming pin with a button on the front that people could just push and your story could be heard whilst you sip your drink, nod ruefully at the bad parts and smile with one raised eyebrow at the good ones?



So... here is my proposal... you tape a series of random chatty Tea remarks and then i, or someone you know who is going to be at the Tea, wears your Random Witty Party Repartee Pin*... and anyone, including the italics, can then exchange witty Tea repartee with you, albeit somewhat inane, by pushing that button for replies.



Just put your list of comments at the bottom of some old unedited entry or post it to your designated Random Witty Party Repartee Pin wearer.. .



This could work!! And it could work for ANYone who isn't able to attend!! Someone could even wear a DNA RWPRB !



Just for the actual 10 to 5 time slot, Random Witty Party Repartee Pin wearers could append that to their nicknames.... for example....

researcher 206083726537 who is wearing Amy Pawloski's RWPRP
