Bah. The Post didn't post the message.
Hmmm...well, four people would be enough. It'd be a small posse, but it'd be enough. But not enough people to wear the red shirts and attract danger away from us.
I'll have Ampton begin making the preparations.

Would you mind if I advertised the thread over at the Thingites' hangouts? There are some *really* people over there...

Arrrr, I be thinkin' tha'd be ok, since the cap'n was going to post in the post and surely at least some of the thingites read the post. I would read it meself, but the print is too fine. Me eyes are used to scannin' the horizon, so they ain't no good fer fine print.

Hah! You know where pirates keep their buccaneers, I presume.
You might try using your bronze telescope on the fine print. But be careful, I think there's still some graphite left on the eyepiece from the last April Fool's at sea.

Arrrr, I warned ye about the "how much does corn cost" joke, but I forgot about them others. So I'll let ye's off this time. Besides I don't mind them jokes noways.
And if ye must know, this hook and peg leg cost me an arm and a leg!

Any Thingites you think'll be interested in coming along? H2G2 isn't as much of an RP hotspot as it used to be.
Let me know when you've posted the invite. We can wait a few days (especially with my lousy internet connection these days.)

I always heard that pirates kept their buccaneers were under their buccan-hats... Eyepatches work too!

Ar, that 'were' snuck in somehow. Maybe it's a were-pirate.

Were-pirates vs. ninjas. That'd be cool.
No takers on the invite, it looks like.

Things were moving pretty fast that day, and it might have gone "over the fold" before it registered properly. I'll give them one more try.

Hiya, kitush!
This is the Trophy Room, where Affy keeps his... er... trophies.
He's organising a mission at the moment (see backlog for details) and looking for sucke...adventurers to take part. I've tagged along on a few of his adventures over the years; they're generally pretty hoopy.
He only seems to be on late-nights at the moment, but I'm sure he'll greet you and give you the full pep talk when he finally gets here.
Key: Complain about this post
