[YK] Sounds good. We using my time gate, or something of yours?

[Link] Actually, it's kinda hard to hide a time gate, even when it's closed.

[YK] Good point.

Nah, it's not hard. Remember my TRC, or the Time Tunnels? Time Gates can remain hidden in plain site for centuries as long as they've been constructed correctly.

[YK] Oh okay cool.

These are Time Gates from Chrono Trigger, right?

Not necessarily. Whether it be the time gates from Chrono Trigger, the Time Tunnels from Zork Grand Inquisitor, the TRC from CLI, or the arch from Beyond Zork, they all serve the same purpose: a semi-permanant gateway through time. They are just slightly different in the rules that they follow.

Okay, hang on....

*Affy goes into the back rooms, and eventually pushes out the fairly large TRC machine. He walks up to the dials*

Okay, where and when?

[YK] Well, by my estimates, about ... August 14, 2007, at 5 in the morning.

[Link] Oh, yeah, that oughta give you plenty of time to find Sheik.

[YK] Fine then. ... "You"?

[Link] Yeah. I'm not going. It's temporally insane, you see.

[YK] I get it: you'd be in three places at once. One in normal time, one after 7 years asleep, and one from now. Okay.

Okay, that's fine. I still require the URL and location destination.

*Affy sets the URL and location destinations. Three black holes (that for some reason are not black, but are blue, red, and green) form at the electrodes of the TRC, and merge together, forming a bright white sphere. The destination is visible. Affy steps through....*
