When I saw your blurb/slugline "the sensible issue" I couldn't resist having a look. You have shed light on a very sad truth.
Your assessment of politics in a material world makes a lot of sense to me.
Wonder when the world will stop electing the wealthiest and best-dressed and start voting for the kindest, most caring, hardest working, most giving and most charitable people. Like you.
I guess it won't happen until those kinda people are actually able to get their names on the ballot. And that won't happen soon because those kinda people don't wanna hang out with politicians.
