Naturally, a bookmark. I should probably think of a point to go with it, but I'm not that ambitious.
Sooner or later, I'll start working on a colorized version of our logo.

Depends on your time zone, I guess, but it's too late at night for me to do much independent thinking. I also hereby bookmark and await the new day.

Oh, dear... here we go again with the bookmarks...
Pseudo-contrary Boy: Not that I'm prodding you along or anything, but I was thinking that, if the graphic was done in time, we might enter our brand new seal in the H2G2 Parade. Nice opportunity to show it off and all.

These threads sure do get long quick.
Shame there isn't an easier way of adding bookmark, without having to put in a crap posting (like this one).

Hey, I would also like to support the idea of a float for the Foundation in the parade. That would definetly get some people irriated.
Boy am I glad that a conversation came up so I wouldn't have to leave a bookmark, Wait, did I just say that?

Personally, the old thread was going ok for mew, in terms of loading times.
Heh, I still need to remind myself to get back to Irving's explanation of how the Parade works! Damn me for having a life!

Greetings and Salutations!
I was directed that *this* was the proper place to make my presence known, and so, I do. Last week I was up in the air as to join this motley crew or not. I am now hovering a mere foot above the ground on the matter. Things going for this place:
* Its not a forum based on fantasy
* Its not overpopulated with teeners
* Its not overpopulated with british teeners
* Its not overpopulated with british teeners living out a virtual fantasy.
In other words, good conversation for grownups.
I have written an Entry especially aimed at you guys, and it can be found at:

Well that's about it. Consider me introduced. I'll most likely name my chair before the weekend, if the welcome is warm.

You got a problem with British teeners?

Mike: Old thread was still working fine for me, too... but we must consider the requests of those less fortunate (you mean there's someone out there who connects slower than 28.8?).
Zen: welcome once again. When I get a chair name for you, I'll add Asteroid Lil, your article, and yourself. I like to do that sort of thing all in one shot (pssst, Lil, if you start getting impatient to be on the page, you now know where to send appropriate comments/insults/motivational speeches ).

Who me, impatient? I just play two games of spider while the net downloads the page, byte by byte, dripping faucet mode. Don't you laugh at my acoustic coupler.
Mike A: LOL! See where precocity gets you.
Zenmondo: Pleased to meet you and not to be impolite, but won't you also be acting out a virtual fantasy once you have chosen your chair?

Uhm... when's the parade? I'll see what I can do at this end, but right now the computer is in the middle of a crisis (no harddrive space, finicky piece of crap) and the new drive isn't even shipped yet. Once I get cruising though...
Just give me a deadline. I'll find a way.
btw, I recieved Twophlag's 'Belief' article to edit. I'm gonna see if I can push it through without too much chopping...

('bout the last thread Yes, loading time wasn't bad, but it's the irritation of having to scroll and wait, scroll and wait... that makes it so annoying.
(ZenMondo Can you not generalise teenagers, especially British ones. I happen to be one of those myself; and although I do understand you irritation through experience of the general loudness, arrogance, ignorance, selfishness, uselessness etc. of my own kind, I rather not feel out of place. Just because most teenagers might be brats that don't give a toss that directly affects them, doesn't mean all of us are like that .

Hey JB, if you really need to you can use the computer at my house, it's not the greatest, but it still runs ok since I am posting this.
There, that should help you a bit.
And welcome to Zenmondo, nice to have some more people around
