Thanks for that KimotoCat - If they answer and require info you cannot give, please get back to me and I will do my best to get an answer to the query.
Thanks again
Oh Peta had Friday off and does not do a lot over the weekend unless she has the urge - perhaps she may find time to get back to you during next week, but if she doesn't, it could be because she will be up to her kneck in work. She is covering for Mark moxon who is on holiday.

Work? WORK? Poor excuse.

Peta Posted Jun 19, 2000
Okay back again. Truth or Dare. Okay. Truth then weirdest job I ever had, apart from this one of course, was a week as a topless dancer, I had to pretend to play the drums. I was living in the south of France and stood in for a friend whilst she was away. I bet you're shocked now...

Would it be unfair to suggest DA even if I haven't met him?
Guess it would, but then...
Lemme get back on this.

No, no - if DNA is the man, then do say... I don't know whether sci-fi authors get a lot of groupies, but I think they should!

Captain John Carter Posted Jul 12, 2000
It seems to me one sci-fi author with a lot of groupies would be L. Ron Hubbard. Or is that a guy with a lot of groupies that wrote sci-fi?
Then there is my personal favourite - Edgar Rice Burroughs - who seems to have gather a following. The Tarzan series was not (by far) all that he ever wrote.
Check out his series of stories set on Mars. Try starting with "The Princess of Mars".

I like Salman Rushdie - and there's NOTHING religious in that!
Read his "Haroun and the Sea of Stories" and see what you think...
Oh, and for the ToD-thing, I guess I like either Greebo or Bluebottle the most. Again, not counting the present delightful company!
And you?
Nicer, eh?
KimotoCat Posted Jul 23, 2000
Whatever...
Right: Truth or dare: Who is your favourite author and what book would that be?
Oh, and don't you dare pick DARE...
Key: Complain about this post
