Well - that would explain the one-way lock on the entrance door - I guess Kim doesn't like losing non-paying customers...

Answer me this:
What was the most entertaining thing in your childhood?

Martin Harper Posted Jun 5, 2000
Hmm. Well, in the back garden, which was basically a piece of fenced off wilderness, there was a little pit, containing a piece of exposed rock. And I used to play "quarries" and smash at it with various tools trying to dig into it, and "mine" it. Following seams of weakness, picking the right way of doing it, and breaking far too much expensive stuff.
It was after we broke part of the croquet set that we were forced to stop...

Hmm.
What's the weirdest/most embarrassing thing you've ever worn, and why?

Give me a few moments to think about that - I'll get back to you today (CET) on the question - BUT I STICK WITH TRUTH!!!

I think this is tricky...
The most embarrasing thing I have ever worn is not the same as the most silly thing:
The silliest is no doubt my first carnival-costume. The one designed over a combination of a Roman soldiers uniform and a head like a pink bird and with the word 'carnival' written all over it. This takes place in Denmark so I was accosted by some 15 or so people, who told me I could not spell right. (In Danish, it is called 'karneval', not carnival.) Now it wasn't entirely my fault, but for reasons of wording, design and a few other details it still stands as the silliest.
Oh, and a close contender would be wearing a very old fashioned long black dress in mid-1800 style, complete with lace and a hairstyle befitting and then carrying a Super Soaker with surplus water cannisters to go. All this on a bus ride in rush-hours...
Most embarrasing? Wearing a white summerdress for a job interview and then, after returning home, discovering that it was THAT time of month and that an accident DID occur. No, I didn't get the job for some reason.
Now THAT is a case of TRUTH, if you ask me. Hah! Your turn - truth or dare?

Hey, this is becoming interesting, don't you think?
Carnival-costumes are always weird. My newest for the May-2000 Carnival was also quite weird!

This is what I've missed out on - need to move somewhere busier - don;t get many carnivals in the Middle of Nowhere...
Hmm, I'll have a dare this time, for variety...

Oooo Group therapy.
As the most entertaining memory in my childhood cannot be printed on a public forum - I guess - I'd better go for a dare - Gulp.
