*Polonius runs through the Ballroom to the Entry Hall*

*Polonius walks into the Ballroom from the entry hall carrying magical items from his shop*

*walks in after Polonius*

After we set the portal up, what are we going to do about security?

What if we build a door? We could infuse the gateway with good magic to block evil persons from using it.

What materials would we use? We could also put an illusion over the portal.

What would you disguise it as; an upright piano?
I think we'll need a book. Send your apprentice to the library for one. Tell him to unlock the cases with the magic key Lycan dropped in the dining room.

*smiles*

I thinking along the lines of maybe a large mirror, like that one just there

*points at mirror against wall*

*Faller enters and stands next to Curmanis*

I don't have the key. The magic key was given to Lycan when the Baron's spirit was within me. Later, Lycan used the key in the dining room wherein he was possessed by the Baron's personal secretary. When I broke the possession, he dropped the key. So the key should be in the dining room under Lycan's chair or in the nearby regions.

*Facing Faller*

*Faller nods, and leaves*

*steps out*

*Polonius breezes through the Ballroom towards the Library*

*Polonius, quite exhausted from all that action of running, staggers across the ballroom out of breath*

Here...is the...book. Opens...opens portal to...Realm...of Heavens.

*pants*

*Polonius knocks on the cover of the book*

This has got to take us to the High Council Chamber while it is still...

*he stops mid-sentence, because the book has vanished from his hands*

Oh, dragon's trousers!

*a small black cluster of doodles appear in the room*

*the cluster unfolds into a large circle of illustrated flowers and feathers*

*the dischordant sound of a thousand harps is heard as a purple mist fills the circle*

*through the mist, one can see the High Council Chamber*

*Poloinius looks through the portal and, seeing Degrom, charges through*

*the portal wavers and closes*

*Curmanis bends down and picks up the book. After reading for a while, Curmanis sets down the book on the floor against the wall. He steps back a couple of metres. Curmanis then waves his hands at the book, as he does so it becomes a Portal, through which you can see the Guild Courtyard. Waving his hands once more, the Portal now looks like a mirror*
