*Still thinking*
No it wasn't that, you're probably right a stop over and a chance to repair the damage to the river, that's probably it.
This is really nice, you're a very good cook

Well in the army I cooked with some of the worse ingreidents possible so you make the best of it when you can... and when you can get the cooking fire going with ease you somehow end up on cooking duties... *laughs*

The Coral Cottage
Flamestrike Posted Nov 17, 2004
Well where to start... Obviously I am well traveled, by land though never by air before. Always had the sense till now to keep my feet on the floor *laughs*
I never really knew my family that well, my friends in the army were my family...
*A short pause later*

*Squeezes Leon's hand in sympathy*
I know, my Mother and my friends are magically sealed in ice in my old home, I put them there to save them from the Dark Allience, the spell can't be broken until they have left the kingdom,, Maybe I will live long enough to see them again

*I look at you deep in your eyes, holding your hand.*
Hopefully you will *I give a forced smile*

Flamestrike Posted Nov 17, 2004
My friends, my family are not coming back though, I survived and they didn't, I do not even know why I was spared in place of them, or what happened after the battle.
*I choke on anger and sadness before recovering*
I just remember waking up in the hospital.

At least you don't have to watch your friends grow old and die
The Coral Cottage
Flamestrike Posted Nov 17, 2004
I would do for one more chance to share a drink with them, crack a joke, not remember Jimbob being torn to *I breakdown and hold my head in my hands*

*Backs off and sits back down knowing he was embarrased*
The Coral Cottage
Flamestrike Posted Nov 18, 2004
*I look down at the floor deep in thought a moment*
I am sorry my lady...
The Coral Cottage
Reefgirl (Brunel Baby) Posted Nov 18, 2004
/Never/ be sorry for showing your emotions, it when emotions get bottled up that trouble starts
The Coral Cottage
Flamestrike Posted Nov 18, 2004
*I look up*
Showing emotions also get you killed, a solider needs to be cool headed and unless we want thunder storms it seems a mage need be too.
