*it's an old love letter:
My dearest Polo,
I know that your love for me is true, but your parents would never except me and to elope would ruin our reputations in the guild. FOr this reason, I think it would be better that we friends rather thatn lovers. I hope you understand.
Your friend,
Patricia*

[Valrir]Interesting!
*Valrir wonder who Polo and Patricia are. He certainly hasn't seen them around. It occurs to Valrir that the letter has blackmail potencial. Valrir reminds himself that he's not a necromancer and despite his cynical nature is just too nice to do anything like that. However, he is curious*

*Valrir finds a copy of the Magicians guild roster in the stacks. He finds records relating to an Adept called Lord Healer Polonius Franc. He can't find Patricia anywhere. It says Polo owns a magic shop. Valrir resolves to go to the magic shop and give him the letter*

*the tapestry is headed by the phrase "agicians Guil", the rest torn off. Under the heading is the figure of an aged man in a black robe labled "Dahon Waddon ~ High Lord" and below him are three youthful magicians labled "Patricia Du Bois", "Polonius Franc", and "Craxus Nec'Roy". Below Patricia's image is a skull, below Polonius' image is a mortar&pestle, but the symbol below Craxus is torn off. The cloth is obvously part of a larger tapestry*
