*Walks in, wearing bracers, a breastplate, a large sword over his back, two longswords at his side, and a couple of daggers. Clinks slightly when walking. Bows to the High Council*
I am ready.

"Pardon me but I am wondering where I should go in the ranks when we march...I havnt really be through much training and the only weapons I have is my staff and a boot dagger."

well go to the middle or stick by a higher ranking magician
its a good opportunity for experience,
now let us move out,
we shall be met at the front gate by whatever guard and soldiers are joining us,
and unless lord craxus specifically says otherwise, I am the commanding officer if you will
now come along and lets give those mother killers something to fear!

Blake nods, smiling. "They will fear my blades of flame." he says, touching the two one handed swords on his hips, as he follows.

[Kraken II]: "Lady Brmyn, Lord Craxus, what should I do? If I had a bit of necromantic help I could see about opening a small hell's gate and rallying some demonic aide." *He looks at them unsure of which course of action to pursue but continues* "There are some factions among my own kind and their related brethren that have no great love for the Dark Alliance either. I am... not sure what I can do. It might be worth a shot though, yes?"

Oh? Huh, I wonder how much else it will become apparent that I'd missed. >.<; Sorry.
*Kraken II retreats to his office chamber and in his mind readies a list of things to pack*

[Kraken II]: *Returns carrying a good deal more things than when he had last entered.*
"Lord Wolsey, I have an idea. It may... be ready, but I need someone... it requires two people,... with a keen sense of smell. They say,... that buried or stashed away somewhere within the bowels of the castle may be a supposed hellfist's guantlet. I've been searching for such an arcane device for many years. You see..."
*He turns to face the highlord as well this time*
"It's a demonic summoning device. There are three parts which it requires to work at full level and I already happen to have two; the control stone and a key gem. Perhaps you know of te text to which I had been referring?"
*he thrusts a loose page that is fragmenting at the edges and looks to have fallen out of one of the countless other books in the library.*
"..As soon as I saw it, that object depicted there seemed familiar... it struck me as odd and I opened one of my chests... then I remembered."
*He places the page on a table and pulls the two pieces from an inner coatpocket*
"See? Those. Yes, the full power of it would be about enough to call fifty demons... would you say? With less than the three pieces it's likely to only summon a fraction of that. [It] would still help somewhat though I'd imagine. It's the best I could come up with I'm afraid." *He shrugs*

Blade?
Nay, Elwyn hadn't a blade as her fellow Elementalist did, but the apprentice wore her bow and arrows as naturally as the stubborn scowl on her face or the salamander on her shoulder.
*She bows to the lords and ladies, then stepped back, listening intently - wondering what would wear out first: her or them?*

Khamsin Posted Mar 24, 2007
*Bows his head to the high lord*
*growls*
Leave here now or I will have to kill you myself before the drow get here go save your son, he stands in need of someone to save him from his foolishness, from killing their armies forerunners and all our armies.
*turning his back to Kraken, he brushes him aside*
The artifact you are searching for hasn't been buried under This tower for centuries trust me there is nothing under there I can feel all the life moving under the ground and magicks too I am afraid you are mistaken there is naught there but animals and tree roots and I wouldn't dare touch those roots if I were you else you might find the demon in me to answer to
NOW LEAVE AND MAKE SURE NONE REMAIN IN IMARDIN, ANYONE LEFT I WILL DESTROY.
*only the beast can be seen in Lycan's eyes, now feral and full of rage*

[Kraken II]: (An air of disgust) : "I was merely trying to help. He did what? Oh. That's very not good. I saved your life, do not ...forget it. And why would I wish to interfere with life force for?"
*An eyebrow raises almost like it was pointing to one of his horns.*
"So be it, evacuate I can try. They don't like demons,-this won't be easy..."
*His tone changes to something more humble*
"I'll need a horse. that would be faster."
*Exits*
