I am... not sure what I can do. It might be worth a shot though, yes?"

They say,... that buried or stashed away somewhere within the bowels of the castle may be a supposed hellfist's guantlet. I've been searching for such an arcane device for many years. You see..."
*He turns to face the highlord as well this time*

"It's a demonic summoning device. There are three parts which it requires to work at full level and I already happen to have two; the control stone and a key gem. Perhaps you know of te text to which I had been referring?"

*he thrusts a loose page that is fragmenting at the edges and looks to have fallen out of one of the countless other books in the library.*

"..As soon as I saw it, that object depicted there seemed familiar... it struck me as odd and I opened one of my chests... then I remembered."

*He places the page on a table and pulls the two pieces from an inner coatpocket*

"See? Those. Yes, the full power of it would be about enough to call fifty demons... would you say? With less than the three pieces it's likely to only summon a fraction of that. [It] would still help somewhat though I'd imagine. It's the best I could come up with I'm afraid." *He shrugs*

Blade?

Nay, Elwyn hadn't a blade as her fellow Elementalist did, but the apprentice wore her bow and arrows as naturally as the stubborn scowl on her face or the salamander on her shoulder.

*She bows to the lords and ladies, then stepped back, listening intently - wondering what would wear out first: her or them?*

*turning his back to Kraken, he brushes him aside*

[Kraken II]: (An air of disgust) : "I was merely trying to help. He did what? Oh. That's very not good. I saved your life, do not ...forget it. And why would I wish to interfere with life force for?"

*An eyebrow raises almost like it was pointing to one of his horns.*

"So be it, evacuate I can try. They don't like demons,-this won't be easy..."

*His tone changes to something more humble*

"I'll need a horse. that would be faster."

Daemons just have an unusually high ability to control lesser demons... that are under their power or control. See... continuity. Can't control ones that are held under an enemy Daemon, makes things fairer that way, yes?
