It is just that, a rumour and the boy is well hidden no one knows who he is not even the Guild's High Council, they are sending Envoy's to Albion to find a king from the Clans

*Passes by outside on her way to the slums.*

Albion? I've never been there, but I hear they have their own Magician's Guild.

*the warm wind blows through, dispelling the snow*

[gargoyle] It is a puzzle, growing ever more complicated. The streets are running with wolves and I don't know how we could stage a battle without them getting involved.

*Patricia sighs*

[Patricia] We need to make the people distrust the guild and the wolves, a few rumours about handing Imardin over to the Lord of Lupisberg may do the trick

OUTSIDE THE TAVERN

*Katriana leans against the outer wall clutching her head. She staggers into a nearby alleyway before gaining control of herself and slinking down the side of the tavern looking for a back door*

Hmm, how about a few official-looking notices announcing the hand-over, citing the presence of the wolves as a peace-keeping force?

*Reeling slightly Katriana finds herself round the back of the tavern in the stables. She takes a minute to sit down before carefully watching the kitchen door. After a few moments she darts across the courtyard and through the back door. Having chosen her moment well she encounters no staff and quickly slips from behind the bar into the main area. She quietly takes a table in a corner and orders a mug of ale, gazing over the top of it at the patrons of the building*

[Patricia] Yes, yes a few well placed rumours about why the Lupisberg army is here, the guild is depleated, Imardin's Army is not up to full strength, Lord Thurin has offered his support to the guild and we can drop the fact his lover is the High Elementalist and let speculation do the rest

I'll go up to my room to draft a few pamphlets. Please excuse me.

*the gargoyle stands and retreats upstairs*

*Katriana holds her head in her hands and slowly scans the room before a stabbing pain alerts her to the fact that the woman sitting at a table nearby is definitely Patricia. She takes a few deep breathes before carefully getting up and approaching the table, keeping her head carefully down*
