*Rose giggles slightly and blushes*

Only just got here Rose, the journey took a while so I fancied a drink

Aye, and what sort of magic did they do?

They were...*thinks hard* they were a healer. Yeah, a healer. They find lots of Greens around, far fewer than other classes - so I hear - so aparently, they have tons of them all in the healing hall

[Rose] Oh, but what class are you? My friend Danielle says that the Warriors are the best, but /I/ like the Scholars.

*takes a deep swig of *

*Rose blushes*

[Rose] I apologise, sir... I don't mean to offend you!

* warmly*

[Rose] ** Well sir, I'd better get back to my job - I don't want my boss to shout at me - again! *giggles, and rushes off*

*he smiles at her, downs her *

*waves to her* thank you Rose!

*gathers his belongings and leaves the tavern*

*the old man hobbles slowly into the tavern,his head hung low, he chooses a table in the corner and beckons to one of the waitresses*

[Rose] Yes sir

[Old Man] Could I have a pint of your finest ale please

*Never looking up the old man reaches into his robes pulling out various pieces of cloth, dirt, pebbles and a few loose coins. He counts the coins methodically and hands over all he has to the barmaid*

[Rose] Of course sir will there be anything else

[Old Man] No no young lady, that will do for now thank you

*The bar maid runs off and returns moments later with a large galss of ale, she sets it down carefully on the table*

[Old Man] thank you young miss, thank you

*The old man watches as Rose heads back to the bar, he sits in the tavern nursing his ale for many hours, listening in on the conversations of those who pass in and out. His attention peaks whenever he hears information of his Lady Syian but unfortunatly no one seems to know of her current where abouts and so he continues to wait*

*Comes in dripping wet and sits in the corner*

[Rose] what can I get you milady

A bottle of mead and keep it filled

*Rose brings the bottle and pat's Shaylar sympatheticaly on the shoulder*

Here's to the death of love

*Downs her glass in one*

*Following the rain Thurin, after one or two wrong turns arrives at the tavern. Soaked and with the rain on his face mingling with his tears he walks in, and, scaning the room, makes his way, slowly, over to Shaylar*

[Thurin] Shaylar? I... that is... well... I'm sorry

*Polonious enters with an umbrella and goes to Shaylar*

Ah, Little Shay, all will be right soon . COme now, if you don't stop crying, you'll wash away the city .
