*near the Guild itself are some large stables; the Magicians use them to store their steeds and Mystical Creatures, and the Town Guard also.*

*the stables have two storeys, the lower one used for ground-based animals - such as horses, giant wolves and so on - and the upper level for flying creatures.*

*Lord Curmanis walks in*

High Lord Craxus told me to collect a steed from here.

[Stable Caretaker]: Oh dat High Lord...he's so dreamy....oh your horse? Whatz the kind of horse do ye want, m'lord? Colour I mean m'lord?

It does not matter to me what colour the horse is, For I can not see it. My only request is that I be given one with a firey temper.

[Stable Caretaker]: Oh, geez sorry, me didn't see....oh uhhh, here...


*Runs back looking through the horse stables, comes back with a tan looking steed.*


[SC]: This is a good beast, she will protect you in dat bad weather outterz there.


*Hands the reins over.*


[SC]: Therez ya go.


*A big smile emerges on the lady doing some good to help the war effort.*

[SC]: Oh m'lord, her name iz Legora. Take good care of her, she is the most loyal beast in here.

*Rears Legora onto her back legs, gallops out of the stable and heads towards Outpost Turious*

Pardon me, stable mistress, do you have any gryphons or winged-horses on the premesis?

[Stable Caretaker] Oh another magician!!! Geez there seem to be a lot of you.... I'm sorry though. We do not have any Gryphons or Winged-Horses....they are just too wild for us to take carez of.


Of course....you and your /BIG/ power, can go into the forest and see if you can capture one. Although, we do have plenty of pretty horseys in stock. Of course you in your position in the Magicians Guild can't take one...I see that the new roster of handed out by the High Lord that you are only a Novice....


I'm sorry, but we can't give you a horsey either You have to be adept and up for one...but of course you can ask help from the High Council...they have magnificant creatures at there disposal....Eventually someone will be coming to help you advance the Magicians Order...

Oh, no. I did not want to take an animal, I merely wanted to take dropped feathers for my shop in the market. I prefer to walk, when not using Timmy, my Parot familliar.

[SC]Oh m'lord...I'm sorry but we don't have anything of that mystical type stuff.....I'm sorry, in the forest, if you could find a nest you could prolly find plenty of feathers.

*The girl runs back into the stable area...she brings back a steed that looks fast.*


[SC]This will be a good steed, fast and powerful.


*Hands the reigns over to Lycan.*
