smiley - applause Finally someone knows what they're talking about! I knew it wasn't that difficult...

Alright, I'll leave this open for a while more, just to see if anybody knows the answer, and after that you can post the new question.

So, to recap, the painter was the famous Italian Baroque artist Caravaggio, and I am now asking, just for the bonus, what are the two paintings in which he:

1. Painted a person with dirty feet
2. Used a dead model

Anybody got a clue?

Well, that wasn't the painting I was refering to, since it wasn't the one we studied about back in school... but it makes sense that he did it on more than one painting.

Well, not so many people know Baroque artists... Renaisance gets all the credit! Personally, I think Caravaggio is amazing, and Bernini's David is much better than Michelangelo's, but you tell people "David" and immediately they think of a 7m-high naked guy with a smug expression...

*sigh* So much useless information...

I know I have one because I cheated on the last quiz...

Anyway, the bonus questions have been up long enough, time to get the third quiz going. the paintings I was refering to were the Crucifixion of St. Peter and the Death of the Madonna (he used the corpse of a drowned whore as a model for the latter - got a lot of people angry).

FF, please present the next question!
