I once managed Northwich on Ultimate Soccer manager 98 while a friend was managing Liverpool, and he loaned me all the peripheral players on 99 week loan deals, so I had guys like Riedle for two years

It seems the Drill Field's inability to meet new Conference ground-grading specs forces them to leave it. A shame.

I wish on my 12th birthday my dad had given me a load of Crack in stead of CM93 as I reckon I would have kicked the crack habit by now...

CM was still on the CM2 engine, which while highly enjoyable,w asn't as timesapping as the CM3 engine, allowing time for USM, which was more fun, and you could bribe oppponents.
I did, on CM2, once get thirty years into a game witH Cowdenbeath, turning them into European champions by the time I was done.

ahhh CM2, probably one of my fave champs...
allthough CM94 where you could buy "Goal Machine" Shaun Murphy from Notts County was pretty damn good

CM01/02, the last CM3, has to go down as my favourite. I've played every one since the original CM2 (95/96 onwards) plus CM1 and CM1 italia (both thanks to free CDs on Cm4 magazine)

I've got an update to 02/03 but, oh tragedy of tragedies, I've mislaid the disc , so I just had a crack at seeing hopw good I would be at being Claudio Ranieri on CM03/04
So I signed Rooney, hargreaves, adu, Jagielka nd Carrick, finished eighth and got the sack. Hmmm.

I could. The most recent official update was at the start of the 2002/03 season, and you can find it at:

Although I have just found an unofficial (more recent) update which I am yet to try out. I'll keep you posted.

six you want www.thedugout.net and the cm sorted patch (up to date enough to have Parker at Chelski but no Rivaldo at bolton yet).
You need to get the V.68 patch from the si games website though.
