You'd be surprised how badly I come out of the equation of what the BBC pays me versus how much it costs to live in London, you know...

Where's the patch which you need to run the updated database? It was mentioned in the blurb on the link you just left.
Now if I can only find Champ 01/02...

The patch is the one I mentioned on the previous page.

I've just been successful in an eBay bid... £3.40 plus £1.99 for postage. I'll be with you shortly...
In the meantime, I'm rather enjoying managing Bradford Park Avenue, who I put into the Conference with the aid of CMExplorer, which I downloaded last night.

I finally achieved my 'spelling' back 4, with some careful dabbling in the transfer market.
My back 4 are now: Tuner Mayo White Sandwich

On CM2 I once fielded an entire eleven who were all called "Wright", with three substitutes called "Wright", in an Arsenal; League Cup game.

I have to say that, for sheer entertainment value, Ole Daniel Fuglerod Danboltt (a real player!) takes some beating.

I remember the first time I heard of him was during our "CM saddos sit athe bar drinking ale and talking about best signings" session at the pub in Derby.
And I still say *the* CM legend is Eldar Hadzimehmedovic

Kristian Ravneng for me.
Free signing at the beginning of the game. Invariably improves enough to attract the interest of Man U et al.

Something I seem to remember me and B started in Derby during our "CM sadddos at the bar" section- a best eleven of players signed on CM01/02
Mine would be, in a 4-1-3-2 formation:
Andreas Isaksson
Kevin McNaughton-Tommy Jonsson- Eric Ejiofor -Kristoffer Andersson
Hakan Mild
Kim Kallstrom -mark Kerr- China
Eldar Hadzimehmedovic-Daniel hoch

I would certainly go with Isaksson in goal, and then:
Kristian Ravneng - Adam Tye - Teddy Lucic - Taribo West (free!)
Chris Sedgwick (18 England caps at last count!) - Stilianos Doukas - Guy Last - Tuomas Kuparinen
David Avila - Howard Forinton

ooh, Taribo is a good call, and would probably make my bench along with another freebie, Victor Hugo Aristizabal.
Key: Complain about this post
