He said he was going on holiday for a week, that was back sometime in March, so nearly a year ago, but he has posted since then, in April certainly, but posibley a bit later (the date it shoes 'last posted' on someones PS only takes the date off the last page of posts that are there, and that might not include more recent posts they've made, but which haven't had any replies and so have gone off the first page doobry, that is the first page I mean, is like the list that comes up when you hit the 'show more conversations' link at the bottom of the conversation list on your PS that doesn't make much sense does it?

I didn't understand much of that but think* I've found out that the bluey box in the top right corner of a PS can lie

I think that was sort of what he meant boss... from what I managed to understand anyway.

I might have to invest in a Sudan one dictionary....

without the assistance of safety ropes 2legs attempts to explain more logically* On a users PS you have the list of conversations, with at the bottom a link to 'click here to show more conversations', when you press that the page that loads has at the end of the address something like 'mp312985' or something like that.
The 'last posted' doobry on a users PS, only takes the time since last post from the most recent posting the resurcher has made which occurs in those postings.
Of course, a posting made, say 1 month previously, may be far far down in their conversation list, whereas, conversly, a posting they made a year ago, may appear higher up their posting list, as someone else may have posted to the conversaion.
Therefore, the doobry that shows when 'last posted', would not, in this example, show that the resurcher had last posted 1 months ago, but instead one year ago attempt fails, safety ropes should ahve been used
