My work day is just finishing here 5.45 BST (British Summer Time) But I'm glad to give you a good start to your day. 
We've had a gloriously warm and sunny day here and I'm looking forward to going home to cook the evening meal, avoiding misleading instructions on cans etc.

What, Miss Ann Thrope? The lady with the shock of red hair and eyes to match. Chewed tobacco while moisturising. Totally vegetarian apart from the occasional child. Six feet six inches in her stockinged feet. Wore high heel army boots and shaved twice a day. Is that who you mean?

Given the salaries a lot of them were pulling down, they needed long years of service in order to get decent retirement benefits. Plus, teahcing kept them busy.
