Ah, I remember a famous incident with me, a cinema, some friends and a girl I'd picked up two weeks beforehand. And the menttion of shootings. It was pathetic, and got me branded a racist for a fair while. Still, ya can't win 'em all

Women, eh? can't live with 'em, can't live without 'em. (Sorry if this sounds sexist, I'm really a good person at heart, as Zem42 http://www.h2g2.com/U97631 will testify) Just one little nice arse" comment, and they're not talking to you anymore.
The worst thing is, I have to see her in a week or so and I barely speak her laguage (french)

That's another thing. A guy can't make one comment about "'er indoors" without being labelled a sexist and ostracised from society. But feminists can be sexist as much as they want...
So next time they start, I'll say...

*sprays everyone in the forum with paint*
That proves a point that I can't quite remember right now.
I was just talking about this to someone. Case in point- those Fiat adverts where the guy patronises womenkind's driving talent. They also show the flip-side with a woman driving but that version doesn't seem to get shown as much.
The point is, it's a joke. We're meant to see what an idiot this guy is being but girls overreact to it. So the thing is, while it's meant to be mildly offensive in a South Park kinda way, suddenly the feminists feel wrong. Feminism has been taken so far that we can't take a joke anymore. The fault lies on both sides these days.
Sorry to go all serious on you guys but it's an important issue for me.
And for the record- I'm an equalist

Tweetie, maybe it's different between our TV regions, but I was under the impression the one with the woman was shown more. Maybe we only notice the one which irritates us! I have no objection to what she's saying, just to her "whiny" voice. If they'd been able to afford mariella Forstrup(sp?) to voice the ad., I'd have no objections.

I got no problem with that - I hate it when people try to defuse a serious discussion with humour.
"Ok, if I ram a barge-pole up your ass, will you sort out your problem with humour? No? Ok, well let us get on with our debate, asshole."

Remembering that quote. Where's it from?
Hmmmm, maybe it's the Scottish thing- she's a Scot (I think) and therefore we can't see her too often
You're lucky I was serious this time. The irony-sarcasm defense mechanism would probably have come up with something I care less about.

Yesterday I saw an advert saying - "Cheaper Car Insurance For Women, as men cannot drive. Only women can apply..."
If this advert said "men", then Feminists would go crazy with protests. Also, a magazine was launched in America a few years back with the title something like "Just For Men" (it wasn't dirty!) yet there was a huge protest about it. Who protests against "Women's Weekly" or any of the thousands of "women only" magazines?

It's because the establishment is F*****G SEXIST!
Tweetie: Quote? Do you mean the barge-pole? Well, the barge-pole is from South Park, but everything other than those two words came from my head.
