Pimms

Nice entry RFJS smiley - biggrin Quite likely to get picked by a scout soon without any further changes.

The title is quite long now isn't it? I'm not convinced the dates are needed.

The only other nit-picking I'd offer is the repetition of 'deem it necessary' (in both 1st and 3rd paragraphs) when describing the plot. It jarred my pedantic sensibilities. There are those who would say my sensibilities need jarring every so often smiley - winkeye, but you could amend one to some other synonymous phrase such as 'decide', 'consider it advisable'or something.

Pimmsaloonie smiley - winkeye

The first paragraph has been changed as requested. I'm reluctant to shorten the title without having at least one more request to do so, since, as I noted in an earlier post, the dates are there in order to help identify the content of the Entry as far as the shorter works are concerned, in contrast to those included in the projected future Entry '"Beyond the Clouds" and Shorter Anime Films By Shinkai Makoto, May 2004 - ____', and quite possibly future ones beyond that -- my assumption being that the longer the major films get (and Kumo no Mukou will be about 50 minutes long), the greater the justification will be for giving them separate Entries; and adding details of Shinkai's minor works from the same time period would appear to be logical, since it would follow the chronological development of his career. The present title defines the boundaries pretty precisely, and I hesitate to reduce the amount of content-specifying information it contains.

I just saw the 'Linking to off-site pictures is not allowed, due to copyright issues that can arise from this' line in http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/brunel/SubEditors-GuideML -- and accordingly I've removed the links to images of the manga, replacing them with 'Images of it can be found by following links from Item 81 in the Makoto Shinkai Fan Web's News section'.

Interesting case, this one. The Fan Web has acquired a link to a Haru no Ashioto trailer on Minori's site -- which didn't work until I accessed the site through the front page, after which the link worked fine, even after I'd rebooted my computer. I've added a reference to the link, with a warning to the effect that it has been known not to work. I've also been able to add the game's release date.

Your Guide Entry has just been picked from Peer Review by one of our Scouts, and is now heading off into the Editorial Process, which ends with publication in the Edited Guide. We've therefore moved this Review Conversation out of Peer Review and to the entry itself.

If you'd like to know what happens now, check out the page on 'What Happens after your Entry has been Recommended?' at EditedGuide-Process. We hope this explains everything.

Thanks for contributing to the Edited Guide!
