Attendance- 300 Warriors of Rohan, several Elves, and many of the 10,000 uruk hai who turned up without tickets but ended up storming the walls.
The king of the eagles received the first yellow card of the match, after he accidentally flapped his wings and whacked Gollum in the chops. After a rousing speach from King aragorn, the team got back in action and Haldir slid one in past the balrog, much to his annoyance.
However, things went from bad to worse for wonko's lads as a mid game scuffle resulted in Saruman being sent off. Down to four men, and already one nill down, it looked doubtful that The survivors would get any back, as Frodo and Gandalf moved up to pile up the pressure. Feeling condifident of an easy win, King aragorn went to have a quite word with the king of the eagles.
Seeing there leader gone, Elrond ordered the full attack. Some amazing ball play between Eomer and Aragorn reduced Gandalf to tears, and he was last heard sobbing 'you shall not pass'. A few fantastic crosses later, and aragorn had scored a hat trick.
In desperation Haldir threw his men into defence, which managed to score one back for the beligured survivors.
A good cross from Gimli, combined with a header from Eomer, resulted in another goal, as the sleepy treebeard desperately tried to find out where he was and why the hell there was several bits of dead tree surrounding him.
A sneaky dive from Frodo resulted in one last goal from the home team, but in the end the home side just couldnt stand the speed of elronds lads. Frodo tried it again, but gollum saw it clearly this time, and after a breif fight with the linesman, Frodo got sent off.
Gimli netted home the fifth and final goal of the match.
