Black licorice is my FAVORITE candy in the world. I suppose it's a love or hate thing because I haven't met anyone who didn't go to one extreme or the other. I find it wonderful. It's sweet without being too sweet and has a unique flavor not found in most candies. Black licorice/jelly beans are candies that most people don't like, so they are always willing to surrender their undesirables to you. Stacy.

Yeah, I like it too. And licorice toffee, treacle toffee and a few other strangely 'herbal' flavoured sweets.
Apparently it's bad for (male) fertility though....
