I really love traditional maple sugar candy. It is made from dried pure maple syrup, mainly in Vermont.

silly silly, you should try the quebec brand. maple syrup is emboldened by the maple leaf school. right now, in montreal you can try maple taffy, made from pure syrup poured hot onto a bed of bright white snow and then wrapped around a stick. yum.

I've had that, and it nearly broke my braces. I stay away from caramels and taffies, but I'll try a Quebec brand.
