Not the adverts though...

If I did another Tale of the Cape would you be behind it again?

"it's not like Sandy Bullock is ever going to get confused with Dame Judi Dench or Meryl Streep..."

Neither of whom have ever done a single bit of hack work in their lives...smiley - tongueout

But to be fair, we watch Sandra Bullock movies just to see what she's gonna do, sometimes with the sound off. "Love Potion #9" ranks real high around here.
I don't think I've ever seen one of her movies in the theatre, though. Shnooks and Uvula went to see "Two Weeks Notice" which I haven't seen. I got tired of that fellow back around "Four Weddings and a Funeral", which seemed like "Sleepless In Seattle" lite.

TotC - yeah, what the hell, I'll do it. Same conditions as before though!

Dame Judi and the Streepster may have appeared in some rather dubious projects in the past (just the other day I saw the Dame in the trailer for Vin Diesel's latest boneheaded SF blockbuster) but in their defence they do have a bit of range and gravitas. Every time Sandy moves away from feisty-wacky-loveable-chick she seems horribly uncomfortable (cf. that film she made with Viggo Mortensen the name of which escapes me).

Anyway the films she makes for herself tend to be... I'm using this quote a lot these days, so sorry if you've had it from me before... worth seeing, but not worth actually *going* to see.

What conditions?

You just want another slurfest in the intro!

No, I hadn't read you making that comment before. But, I agree wholeheartedly.

That's why the rising tide of crappy movies on DVD with commentary is so fascinating to me. I rented flick with Adrian Paul playing a gigolo vanpire and never "watched" the movie. I just ran through the "making of" and the director's commentary and I was thoroughly entertained.
I did that with "Shanghai Nights" and "Rush Hour 2", to my child's irritation.

I feel about Sandra probably the same way I do about Rutger Hauer or Dolph Lundgren. If they crank out another one, then at least they are working and I get to see a familiar face that I like to look at.
Also, I have the feeling we will be seeing less of Sandra in the coming years. She's gotten into production, big time, of movies and TV shows.

HPB, you're forgetting the key condition, to wit: 'No whinging when stuff gets changed.'

Slurfest? What slurfest? That isn't even a proper word, take that on Countdown and Richard would turn you down.

I wondered what Adrian Paul was up to these days. His bright future as the one-time 'next James Bond' must seem but a distant memory. And Rutger Hauer actually turned up in a pretty decent movie last year. Given the choice between Sandy Bullock as actress or as producer... well I couldn't really care either way, I mean, she was okay in Demolition Man, but that might just be down to those extremely tight trousers she was wearing. As I think I said, her work has never really captured my imagination.

The intro is what I'm talking about and I have never complained of changes.

Yeah, but I didn't slur anyone.

And on one occasion when I subbed an edition of SSS there seemed to be non-stop 'change this bit back to the way I wrote it!!!' coming from you and no mention of all the stuff I'd actually fixed...

It must be some fantastic connection when I know Greebo isn't subbing it...

Fixed?
