A Conversation for Talking Point: TV Imports
TV is great around the world!

It's also disappointing around the world, but that's the gammut that most things run.
My favourite UK shows have included The Avengers (the Emma Peel period, specifically), Monty Python, The Office.
From Canada: The Littlest Hobo, Corner Gas, and Little Mosque on the Prairie.
From USA: My Favorite Martian, Get Smart, Chuck.
From France, Italy, and Spain: Guignoles, Tutti Pazzi P, Run the Show
Japan: game shows, because I can get a sense of what's happening, even though I can't speak the language.
A lot of TV is dreadful, but there is almost always something on (as if I'd have time for that). Anyway, we should also be thankful for movies!

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
