A Conversation for Chris Klein
I actually quasi-know him...

I have been an actor in the Omaha area for years. I met him through my at the time girlfriend in Omaha. I wish him well, however I am astonished at some of the fan sites I encounted while attempting to gather research for an article.
This excerpt I pulled off a fan-site guestbook in response to women arguing with each other, and bashing one another over Chris.
"I find it extremely humorous that so many of you who do not actually know Chris speak wonders of him. Those who have met him, explain that he is a jerk, and you respond harshly to these people. Why? To preserve a fantasy of a fictious person? Is your wasted lust worth viciously slandering the feelings and characters of actual people, who actually know the guy? Stop being so jealous, childish and self-deluded. Wake up. Log off this cyber-reality, and meet a real person, whose indentiy is not defined by their appearance. You might realize the judgement you assigned to a fiction character you saw in a movie was ill-placed, hypocritcal and silly. How would you like to be judged solely on your looks or someother idiotic one-dimentional facet?"
I also found various pictures of him, even one of Chris only wearing boxer shorts. In the name of good taste, I did not post them.

I quasi-meet people all the time. I am introduced to them, and they may coy, half hearted smiles. They stand silently while I have a seperate conversation with the individual I actually know, who introduced this stranger to me, but I exchange little to no dialouge with this person. Then the person leaves and mumbles something like "it was nice meeting you."
"Yes, and it was nice quasi-meeting you as well."

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
