Hello, happy members of the Church of the True Weevil, and potentially future members as well. I have a question for you all. I'm wondering how each of you found out about the church. If you're a member of the church, you could also mention the bizarre reason you had for joining, but only if you bleeding well feel like it.

I also saw the light... Or actually I was happily enjoying my time in the "Dark Gothic Manthion" in which I had gone from Switzerland where all these people (end elephants) had been searching for the Ark of the True Brownie and then I suddenly started wondering who this Zonker-guy who couldn't see himself in a mirror was anyway and clicked the link in the post and found myself in a homepage of his and there, near the link to the Church of the True Brownie I saw the link to the Church of the True Weevil and then --- I saw the light and was forced to click that link and join this happy group of happy weevils (and happy those who happily respect & worship them)...

Must have been the light of the St. Weevil's day bonfire.

you can ditto Alien's post for me, but insert Alien where he says Zonker.. and leave out that stuff about the mirror and all.. and the quest... Alright FINE! so it's NOT ditto! so SUE me!

I decided i needed to go visit Alien's page (since the last time i did that was the first week i was here) and i just happened to notice the wonderfully funky badge, and said "what the hey, i'm a religious sort!" or something like that.. so it's all ALIEN'S fault! (thanks Alien!)

oh, and the truly inspired exposition on the welcome page put me well past any innate dislike for weevils, and helped me to see their noble qualities... -huh, what? oh, fine. don't believe me, but that's my story, and yes- i'm sticking to it!
