A Conversation for Church of the True Weevil

Nationality of Weevils?

Greetings to all fellow devotees.

I have a problem that is weighing heavily on my mind, perhaps someone could advise what I could do to solve it and get a good night's sleep once more.

I recently bought a packet of couscous and on opening it was overjoyed to find an active colony of weevils inside.
As the packet was produced in France and purchased in Nigeria, I naturally wished to determine the nationality of the weevils.
Playing the Marselleise and the Nigerian national anthem to them did not cause them to stand to attention. Several other anthems have similarly had no response.

This leads me to the following hypotheses:

- the weevils belong to a minor nation whose anthem is nt in my collection.

- the weevils are unpatriotic

- the weevils are deaf

Can anyone suggest further research to determine which if any of the above are correct.

Regards to all weevil fans

Good Doctor Zomnker (This must be Tuesday," said GDZ to himself, sinking low over his Dr. Pepper, "I never could get the hang of Tuesdays.")

You make some good hypotheses, they are all incorrect however. Except for certain times of the year (see Holidays), weevils tend to stay by themselves or in small groups. The colony you found in your couscous was an aberration. Do not be discouraged by this news. Any other questions, feel free to ask!
