I think they were supposed to be about the same age- it's probably Tom and Barbara's behaviour that made them seem younger.

Having looked on imdb, I've found there was 8 years difference between the two actors in real life, with Paul Eddington the older.

I've just had a mental picture of the Goods dying wool using nettles (I think) in their kitchen...

Author posted 4 weeks ago, so hopefully they will reappear soon to finish this off otherwise, as you say, it will be in and out of the flea market in less than 5 seconds
