Geggs

That sparks a memory. I remember seeing some birds living on a cliff-face. With some possible having little caves which they had made their nests. Though, to be honest, I can't remember where, or which birds they were. Not a great memory, admittedly.

Your comment there Bob prompted me to have a check in my Bird Bible (The Birds of Britain and Europe with North Africa and the Middle East, by Messrs Heinzel, Fitter and Parslow) to see what I could find.

In fact, I found no less than 36 species with repeating Linnean names.

And there is one with a TRIPLE name. Lagofus Lagofus Lagofus! (Willow Grouse)

Re repeating Linnaean names - two I like are the corncrake: Crex crex, and the tiny Goldcrest, our smallest bird: Regulus regulus.
