"Gizza clue Keith!!!!" reminds my of that charater in thateighties TV series 'Boys From the Blackstuff' who went round saying: "Gizza a job, gizza a job.

OK here are the hints dropped so far:
It's indirectly connected to food but only in a minor way.
I've mentioned ranks.
I've mentioned Zozo as a 'he' and a connection to royalty.

And Pebble got right amongst the facts with this..."A guest at the dinner later recorded in his diary"

To my mind this is a biggy and although Pepys was wrong, any thoughts that travel in this dorection might be worthwhile.

Zozo is a childhood nickname of a famous person.

Does this help?

I've got to go and mow my lawns whilst the sun is out, so I'll be back in a few hours (biggish lawn on a steep slope). I hope the hints above are of some use.

Not British Royalty. I think that we have established that. Phil the Greek was turned down, so not Greek Royalty. Not King Zog of Albania either.....

French??Italian??Spanish??German?? Zozo does not sound right at all there!!!, not with a Royal connection anyway...(Just thinking aloud at the moment! No guesses yet!!, Keith)

So.......Russia?????

I have a dim recollection of a Zozo being involved. Someones nickname, maybe???

GT, "Someones nickname, maybe???"

In my post #49 I say: "Zozo is a childhood nickname of a famous person."
and I say also; "To my mind this is a biggy and although Pepys was wrong, any thoughts that travel in this dorection might be worthwhile."

You do get a DGI+1 for French+German though and royal connection doesn't necessarily mean a Royal does itsmiley - winkeye
