thyme - a culinery herb
waist - a slimming at the middle of the trunk or body
waste - to use up or spend without getting true worth or benefit

Oh, and there is no such word as "brung". It should be "brought".

Wow you are all good at this...
I've 'thunk' and I've 'thunk' and all I can come up with is
wheeze - noise mde when one is having trouble breathing
wees - third person present tense of the verb to wee
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ooooh no here is one
Rain - when the sky lets loose
Reign - to rule over a kingdom
As for double meanings for the same spelling
rank - something which smells BAAAD
rank - to put things in an order
tied - past tense of the verb to tie, as in he tied a knot
tied - more than one person acheiving an objective at the same time, they tied for second place
(definitions are mine, prob better ones in a dictionary)
Um.... let me see, making these up as I go...
Goa - place in India (do Proper nouns count?)
goer - an idea that is going to work
OK that is my lot
lot - like a plot of land used for parking
lot - much of
