No, I won't comment before you're finished.
For now I just wanted to check that it's ok to put comments at the bottom of the entry like this. Don't make a fresh copy? Wouldn't want the petty nitpicks hanging off the end of of the copy everyone sees.

Good idea.
Don't worry about this thread appearing with the published version. That's one reason we make a copy and then shazz copies that.
All guaranteed to shake off any editorial conversations.
I note a missing 'i' in 'visitng' in the first intro.
In the final paragraph the 'c' and 's' in 'presence' need to trade places and 'sight' should be 'site'.
But again, these picky little details can always be fixed in the AggGag/CAC page copy. Don't worry about these too much, but yes, it's helpful to have fewer necessary corrections.
I didn't check the links? Are they copies?
Let me know when you think it's ready to copy.

Just went over your giudeML and noticed that you left in the tags but took out the smiley. While I really don't care, I'm wondering, are you going to replace the smiley with somehting else, or leave the table blank? If leaving it blank you may want to take out the tags to ease loading times.
Nitpicking as asked. Liked the style.
(Sneaky, finished updating own issue, too lazy to switch log-ins)

I'm going to replace it. It doesn't work anyway in my current browser, so I'll have to change browsers when I replace. Which I don't want to do right now.
Maybe I'll change it to a

Good work, as far as I can tell while running past it with my glasses on.
Today I am as antsy as a flea at a dog show...
I am waiting for Shazz's version of the first Continuum to come out before I make a good template.
Until further notice, this is definitely in the queue.

Due to the subject of this tread I was not sure if I should make a new one or just hijack this one...I decided on hijacking...this way I don't need to bother my mind with figuring out a subject myself.
The visiting a small town I think would best fit in a southern state topic...though, thinking harder I realized that you either have been to Michigan yourself, or you've just made one of the biggest errors that was not an error in the history of H2G2!
While the terminology of the "Visiting a small town" topic is CERTAINLY southern in nature it can also fit snuggly in with the term "Michigan Hillbilly". Then again, the writer may very well be from Michigan, as it speaks of Ice Fishing...and AFAIK they can't do that in the south all that often, as it hardly ever freezes down there.
So regardless if this is in error on your part, or you did it on purpose, I like it

Nice segway from nitpicking to ice-picking.
Hey, don't mind me, just passing thru.
I'm sure Jodan will be along shortly to defend himself, unless the Ohio winter has him frozen in.

He's from Ohio?
Well then...I'm sure he knows about us Michigan Hillbillies then
*was secretly hoping it was a FANTASTIC error*

J Posted Jan 23, 2004
I certainly am from Ohio. Almost painfully so.
Michigan is Ohio's neighbor to the north. I surely know enough about the state's hillbillies. Do you think anything needs editing, Zoitiel?

No, I like it I just felt the need to comment on the 'southernness' of the 'Visiting a small town' topic.
Not really a gripe, or complaint...just an observation.
Anyways, my opinion is biased....you've got a link to me in there...so I <3 it
it could honestly read:
Blah blah blah, yada yada blah blah yada Zotiel yada blah blah yada
and I'd like it

Okay, jwf.
What the hell is going on?
Is this the one that would go to Shazz or have you already copied it to another A number at CAC?
Is that the way it's supposed to go?
1. UG copy of CAC Continuum
2. CAC copy
3. Post copy?
Or am I confused, as usual?
Is Jodan's issue ready to ship to Shazz?
Or is there something still to be done?
Or have you already shlepped it over to another number and done something to it?
Mommy!

Oh here you are...
No I have done nothing but criticise.
I think Waz's is ready but I didn't make an <./>AggGag</.> page copy or tell shazz. I thought you said you'd be the Posting liason and took that to mean you'd get them ready for shazz.
Not sure if Jodan has said his is 'finished'.
And I see there's activity on the thread where sneaky's issue is being discussed so I'll ...

J Posted Jan 29, 2004
It's finished. I think.
Edit it as you'd like or tell me what to edit and I'll do it.
But use Waz's first if you like I like the music entries better anyway.

Tonsil Revenge (PG) Posted Jan 30, 2004
Yeah, well I liked it well enough until I threw Sneaky's to Shazz.
I'm going to copy it to an A number on my personal space, your's and Waz's.
I'm going to continue to talk to Shazz and see what I can do to lessen her load.
There are some elements that don't work well in other skins and other's that will make the page slow to load when in the POST.
I'm going to try to make the folks at the POST happy.
As I said elsewhere, we are going to try to have a template or at least set of basic requirements for a CAC Continuum issue ready to be referred (sp?) to in the next couple of weeks.
So my apologies ahead of time for anything you may be fond of that seems to disappear. Trust me that it was deemed necessary or at least expedient to disappear it.
Your hard work is appreciated.

>> Your hard work is appreciated. <<
So is yours.
It is not the most pleasant duty you have chosen. But we are all glad it's you, because you know what it's like to have some strange talking drummer boy come along and monkey wrench the works of honest men.
I really like the new level of illustrations, they give our new column a literary 'magazine' feel and I'd hate to see any of the pictures not get seen. I know you will try to edit and fix without disturbing the originals any more than is necessary.
More power to ya!
