The League of h2g2 - as I understand it - is designed to finish wars that are waged upon us rather than carrying out strikes etc upon our rivals.

How does escalating the war solve anything? Besides the bulk of members at the collective don't have anything to do with ill tempered 
s with self image issues, so getting at them only makes it worse...
As I understand it the League is around to protect hootoo and keep it a happy place. Picking fights (unless they're like the fun intra-hootoo variety) don't accomplish either of those goals.
